Common questions

How do I delete my data? In the app, open Settings → Privacy & Data. "Delete my challenge data" removes everything Sharpen stored in iCloud for challenges. "Erase everything on this iPhone" also deletes your training log, plan, devotion history and settings. Workouts saved to Apple Health stay in Health; delete them in the Health app. You can also email us and we'll delete your challenge data within 30 days.

How do I get a copy of my data? Settings → Privacy & Data → Export my data creates a JSON file you can save or share.

How do I report or block someone? Open the challenge, tap ⋯ next to the person's name, and choose Report or Block. You can also report a whole challenge from the bottom of its screen.

Does Sharpen share my Apple Health data? No. Health data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. It is never uploaded to iCloud, shared, sold or used for ads.

Why do challenges need consent? Challenges store your display name and the days you check in on Apple's iCloud so your friends can see them. Several state health-privacy laws require your consent before that happens. You can withdraw it anytime in Settings → Privacy & Data.

Focus Lock didn't unlock my apps. Finish or discard the workout, or go to Settings → Focus Lock → Unlock apps now. Apps also unlock automatically after the time limit you chose. You can also unlock right away from Settings, and emergency calls are always available from the Lock Screen.

Challenges say to sign in to iCloud. Challenges use iCloud. Sign in under the Settings app → your name, then reopen Sharpen.

Who can use Sharpen? Anyone 13 or older. Teens need a parent's or guardian's permission.
