Community Guidelines

Challenges exist so friends can sharpen one another (Proverbs 27:17). Keep them encouraging.

Zero tolerance

We do not allow objectionable content or abusive users. Don't use display names or challenge names that are:

  • hateful or demeaning toward anyone's race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
  • sexually explicit, vulgar, or profane;
  • violent, threatening, or encouraging self-harm;
  • harassing, bullying, or targeting a real person;
  • impersonating someone else, including church staff;
  • spam, advertising, or links.

Don't use nudges to harass or pressure anyone.

Filtering

Sharpen checks display names and challenge names against a list of objectionable words and blocks names that match.

Report and block

In a challenge, tap the ⋯ next to a person's name to:

  • Report them, for an objectionable name or abusive behavior. Reports go to our moderators.
  • Block them. Their name, check-ins, and nudges are hidden from you on this device.

You can also report a challenge itself from its screen, or email jake@cornerstonebluffton.org.

What we do

We review every report and act on objectionable content within 24 hours. That can mean removing the content, removing the user from challenges, or banning them from challenges permanently. Serious threats may be reported to law enforcement.

Teens

Users 13 to 17 should join challenges only with people they know, and only with a parent's or guardian's permission.
